- In Shakespearian time acting was considered a respected job
- Modern theater has moving parts, lighting, electronics, etc.
- In Shakespeare the actors had to project more and use big hand gestures so the people in the back can see and hear because they don't have the technology like modern time
- Shakespearian plays had to be performed in the afternoon because if it was too late they didn't have enough light
- In Shakesperian time, an audience expected a different play to be acted out each day
- In Shakesperian time the best seats were all the way up in the back vs. modern day in which the most expensive seats are close and upfront
- In modern times going to a play is an occasion to get dressed up, but during Shakespearean times, anyone and everyone could go see a play
