All About Me

Hi, my name is Charlie Swan and I am 16 years old. I come from a small town in Connecticut called Wolcott. My family is made up of my mom, my dad and my six older sisters. I also have a two-year-old niece, who currently lives with us. Being the youngest of the family not including my niece definitely has its perks. I am generally spoiled among the other kids and have the most clothes due to the fact, everything gets handed down to me.
Not only do I have my family to rely on, I also have my boyfriend. We have been together for one year now. Although, at times it gets very rough because he lives very far away. Often during the summer, we don't get to see each other for three months. He lives in Venezuela but is always here to support me through whatever I need. He is a grade above me. Therefore, he will graduate before me, this will be a big challenge for us, but in the end we always find our way through. I consider him my best friend and confide in him for everything I may need.
My hobbies include gymnastics, dance, acting and modeling. I have been doing gymnastics since I was very young. It requires a lot of endurance and stretching. Although it does require endurance, it is very relaxing to me. It helps me get out of my head and into a different place. I find gymnastics as a way of an escape and it is something that I cannot live without. My favorite hobby is acting and modeling. I have been in the business since I was about nine years old. I have been in several commercials, modeled for the gap, episodes in Nickelodeon and filmed a movie. The most amazing experience of being in the acting world is being able to meet so many new people and seeing what goes on behind the scenes. Although it is fun, it takes a lot of persistence, memorization and most importantly hard work. Juggling acting in school at time becomes difficult. However, I managed to do it with the help of my family and a lot of dedication. My teachers and coaches work with me and provide a lot of support in order for me to reach my goals.
School is very important to me and is a very big priority. This year I am taking full IB. I know will be very difficult but it will help me achieve my goal of getting into a great college. I'm a very dedicated student and I'm always up for this challenge.
My family , my friends, acting, and school all shape me into the person I am today. Without all this, I don't know where I would be. I have gained so many experiences through my family, my friends and  acting. These experiences are unforgettable. I'm so glad that I was able to accomplish all of this with so much support from my friends and family. Without them, I would not be able to accomplish any of my goals.
